Patrick and MUA agree 4-year enterprise agreement

Patrick Terminals are now looking forward to a four years of industrial stability on our waterfront after the terminals confirm that an in-principle agreement has been reached with the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) for a new 4-year enterprise agreement after two years of bargaining negotiations..

The agreement will now need to be voted on by the MUA members before being ratified by the Fair Work Commission. Patrick Terminals is very pleased with the outcome.

With the removal of restrictive recruitment condition, all employment will be fully at the discretion of Patrick Terminals and also delivered other much-needed flexibilities for the Patrick operations across all four terminals.

Further updates will be provided after the employee vote. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach Image International Freight representative, sales@imageinternational.com.au.

Under the new agreement, all employment will be fully at the discretion of Patrick Terminals, DCN understands. The company will be able to recruit without union approval.
